It's true--'good' and 'bad' go together and all is impermanent.
I suspect things will continue to deteriorate. As I replied to Vicki yesterday, this pandemic could be contained with relatively simple measures that enough people are unwilling to engage with. This doesn't bode well for our ability to make the more intense lifestyle changes necessary to address things like the climate emergency or the next pandemic or whatever it is that comes along or is already happening.
I’d say she’s doing a bit better than I am but I’m hanging on for dear life. Cannot wait for the new year and then the vaccine. Let’s see what comes next.

It is sad. And the people who deny that they even have COVID as they are being intubated is really something. The denial and this nonsense about how wearing a face covering and avoiding crowds is some kind of infringement on freedom is killing people. It is really horrifying to watch what is going on there.

🙂 I would've had the same reaction as you did! We have had to say good-bye to several dogs (& cats). They live in our hearts still.
