This bush is nearing the end of the blooming season, but it's still trying to bloom:
I love the (almost) bare trees against the sky
I also love the deep colours of some hydrangea plants. This one looks more burgundy than pink in real life.

Love the photos, especially the hydrangea, orange green and brown (don't know what that is, and the bare trees/sky! We just got our house painted and now I'm trying to figure out what flowers to plant in the front. Need to be able to handle heat, sun, and be low maintenance.
Succulents? There are so many beautiful colours and shapes.
