around the corner, green shoots
on a cold morning
For those that are interested, our Alaska stories continue on the Glancing Back in Time blog. Today there are some scenes from British Columbia and the Yukon, along with a story about our search for a simple loaf of bread, which turned out to be not so simple.

Love this Shari!
So much can be said in a few chosen words 📚☕
So true, Jan! And I like the short form as a kind of boundary.
I love bare branches and stuff, Vicki, but it is a little sad during the in-between stage when there are withering blossoms and foliage.
Still dark here, but when I entered the living room, before turning on the light I saw: Snow on the balcony, gahhhh. Bet you´d love it, off to Alaska now ;-)
Hope my wildflowers and strawberries make it! As your plants, too.
We get a thin layer of ice here. I hate that! I have spikes for my shoes, but they're useless on thin layers of ice or black ice, which terrifies me.
Fingers crossed for your flowers and berries!
I like these two pictures, and your words.
Nature can be amazing can't it.
We already have some new growth shoots coming through. and it's only January.
Enjoy your weekend and stay warm!
All the best Jan
In one place we lived, the daffodils were up even as they were taking down the town Christmas decorations!
Love this...
Thanks, Brenda!
