Iris asked to see the pin loom triangle hat in real life, so here it is from this morning:
We were heading to Aldi to do our weekly shop, thus the mask. And I am experiencing my usual summer poor sleep and other crud, thus the numerous layers of bags underneath my eyes! In real life for sure!
I hope it's a nice day in your part of the world.

The hood looks great, dear Shari!
I am very sorry that you can sleep so badly...
All the best from Austria

Thank you, Traude!
I'm used to the poor sleep. I don't care for it, but it's usual at this time of year. Summer and I don't get along well ;-)
Thanks, Vicki!
The pin looms are fun and not complicated. One can get fancy with designs, but I enjoy the plain weave with the colour changing yarns. I never know how the colours will play together 🙂🧶
Very fun hat Shari. Well done.
I tried to track down the town that you did not like living in but had a hard time. I gathered it was in Oregon though. I'd love to know where and why. I am relocating up there from Southern California (which I love) and want to know everything I can.
Thanks, Linda!
Yes, I am happy to share my thoughts on Oregon. It really is like two different states. Would you feel comfortable with email? My email is: shariannburke AT gmail.com (you know, @ for AT and no spaces :-)
If you want to send me an email there, I can reply directly to you or, if that's not cool with you, I can reply here. Either way, I look forward to hearing from you!
I know this is a tough move/situation for you and I truly hope you will find a place you love and are happy in!
Very cool (sorry I´m late!!!).
Thank you for sharing - weee. sorry for not sleeping well.
It´s still way too cold here! And dark, you´d like our weather....
I think we were having similar temps to you and I was so grateful! :-) Now it's inching up and will be 17-ish for at least a couple days, with sun. That's too much for me. But then I always have the same issues for 6 months of the year, so I am used to it, even though I don't like it! Less than a month to solstice and then a bit less daylight each day! Whoopie!
