Peace, Tranquility, Gratitude

We went out for a quick pre-coffee walk this morning. It was beautiful--not hot and not cold. Just chilly enough to wear a sweater. There was a breeze. Clouds blocked the sun. I was drinking in the peace and calm and enjoying the autumnal landscape.

Even though the clouds blocked the sun, Errigal was still in view.
They call it a mountain, but to me it's more like a large pointy hill. Whatever. I love seeing it.

This is pretty much the color of the sweater I'm wearing today.

Rust in a bed of green:
I enjoy looking at this rock and the moss growing on it every time I pass.
There's not much left of this cottage, but the plastic flowers and lace curtains are hanging in there. 😐
Almost home. The coffee is waiting.
I'm so grateful that I can embrace my favorite time of the year--the -ber months--here in this tranquil place. It's a sharp contrast to the previous three years, which makes me appreciate it all the more.

I hope that this day brings you whatever it is that you want/need. I'm going to refill my coffee mug. 😃
