Dear Shari,
it's reassuring to see those clouds - I think in that case it won't be as hot where you are as it is here at the moment. (Yesterday and today it was around 35 degrees Celsius... and as you know, I'm not a big fan of the heat either... even though I'm trying to adapt to the climate changes...

Thankfully, we did not get as much heat as the UK and mainland Europe! It did get to 30-ish on the east side of the island, but up here on the edge of the island in the northwest, we got into the low 20s for a couple days. That's still too hot for me, but given what is happening elsewhere, I am not complaining! That was Monday and Tuesday, I think. It's cooler since then-mid to high teens now and a rainy weekend is forecast.
