Blooming

Ireland is not known as The Emerald Isle for nothing! I have never seen so many shades of green as I have in the two years we have been here. It is not just green though. There are so many shades of grey here in the stone walls. Tree bark and lichens display many kinds of brown. Rocks range from black to grey to brown to white. And in spring the flowers--both wild and not--burst open everywhere and the place is a riot of colour.

Here is some of what is blooming now in Moville.

Hope things are beautiful in your neck of the woods!

Very beautiful, and I am happy to report the same is true for Maine.
