There was a lot going on at the harbour yesterday afternoon. It was a whole different vibe than Killybegs, where the harbour was dominated by very large boats. This had small boats and the scenery was gorgeous!
This was what we saw when we got off the bus.
We left the harbour area at first to wander around a bit, but after we'd eaten our picnic lunch, we went back and walked around some more.
There was a heart in the roadAnd showers availableThere's a ferry to nearby Arranmore Island and boat trips to see marine wildlife. The ferry is running even with restrictions still in place. Not sure about the sightseeing boats, but even if they're not running now, hopefully they will be later in the year. We'd like to do both.

Thanks, Vicki! I am quite smitten with the place!
ReplyDeleteIt looks such a lovely place to visit.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs show it so well.
Top marks for spotting the heart in the road.
I've a feeling you will be visiting again :)
All the best Jan
A wonderful mini-holiday! And yes. I firmly believe we will get darn "Corinna" under control and travel again, if with distance... Cute boats. I miss the water. And the heart, thank you for the smiles.
