    Did you keep it?

  5. Thanks, Jan! I did keep it--it's hanging in my living room as I type :-) I made it (tatted) out of some scraps of thread, an old button, and the sparkly thing that Bill found on the sidewalk one day when we were out walking.

When we moved to Ireland, we had to be very selective about what we brought, given the size and weight limits on luggage, so I had to leave behind all of the Christmas stuff I'd made, been gifted, etc for 35 years. So the first Christmas we were in Ireland, I made a few ornaments out of thread scraps I'd brought with me and this is one of them.

Guess what´s on TV? A docu on.... tadaaa... Alaska! No snow, though, heaps of cows and horses and that sure is a peaceful sight. Happy holidays to you :-)

Ah, Alaska. Lots of winter and the other seasons crammed into whatever months are left! 😁
